Villages Water Leak Project
Our HOA Board is taking immediate action on our community’s water leak issue. A plan was outlined at yesterday’s Manager’s Meeting to address the serious water leak that has plagued our community for nearly a year.
1. An outside vendor that specializes in finding leaks will be hired to search for leaks in our main water lines. This cost is estimated at $12,000. Representatives from this company and volunteers from the Villages will be entering into our backyards to access water shutoffs and standpipes in search of leaks. You will be notified by our volunteer team when this process begins.
2. Residents are needed to volunteer to visit and access inside each home in our community to test toilets for leaks. Volunteers will work in pairs to access each home.
3. Residents are asked to inspect their own property for any standing water and make repairs to any minor plumbing repairs within your property. Please report any leaks to the office.
4. If your neighbor has asked you to house sit and you can access a neighbor’s home while they are away, please do so.
